Aftermarket accessory switch mounting options
Aftermarket accessory switch mounting options
I've had a cutout for a while and just had the switch temporarily mounted with double sided servo tape in the storage space next to the cigarette lighter. I'm working on a fan switch now and was looking for a place to put the switch. I seen it under the cig lighter but I don't think I like that. So I whipped this up.
I'm not the best metal fabricator, I made this with a drill, dremel, and tin snips. It fits right into the storage place next to the cig lighter and I'll screw the tabs into the side to hold it still. I don't think it looks half bad. I might get a convertible switch plate later but I don't know what I'll do with the over sized square hole it comes with, we'll have to see.
What have you guys done to mount aux switches?
