after header tune
ok this is really a newbie question, but now that i got headers, i hear that its good to get a tune. but the question is what exactly is done in a "tune" after headers, and where should i go to get one. how much can it help performance?

Re: after header tune
since you just have basic bolt ons i would just look into a mail order tune. places like www.pcmforless.com or www.madz28.com will hook you right up. they've been getting some great results with thier tunes. more power, better fuel economy and smoother running.
mostly it is adjusting the fuel/spark tables for more optimum settings. as well as adjusting knock sensor sensitivity, cooling fan settings, shift point (a4) and things like that.
they can also get rid of the need for o2 sims by programming out the rear sensors as well as the EGR and AIR (if so equipped).
