Advice on Next mod... Please post ALL opinions

Hey guys. I am putting my FLP headers on next month. My goal for my car is to reach 10.5 or faster with a supercharger, and heads/cam combo, along with a Torque Converter if I have to. Times/Mods are in my sig. What would you do next? With all the mods I've done so far, would you go ahead and do a Supercharger, or would you do heads/cam, or what? I want to get a 12 bolt AFTER I put the supercharger and heads/cam combo in. Then, I want to get forged pistons, etc. And then get a 12 bolt, and some big STICKY tires. Am I going about this the wrong way or what? Let me know what you guys think, thanks.

Could always do heads/cam and nitrous. That'll get you there and for cheaper. .

I would suggest putting a heads/cam package on next. Also another cheap mod you could do is get an ASP pulley. They are about 200 dollars and take about a tenth or two tenths off your time.

I like the idea of a heads/cam combo, however, I have heard that there are heads/cam combo's that work better with blowers than others. So I've been told to go with a supercharger, then a heads/cam combo that fits that. Am I correct? Nitrous is out of the question, because I don't like having the power "Sometimes." I want it all the time. Also, the ASP pullies are out of the question, because I have a lot of neons, and am going to be putting in a nice stereo system, and I've heard that that stuff won't work as good with an underdrive pully. Correct? Please correct me if I am wrong, thanks.

Getting the cart before the horse will prove more costly than the other way around. Prepare the car/drivetrain for the power, then add the power. Start with the suspension & rear end, then clutch or torque converter, then build the motor (rotating assy., heads cam and all at once) for a supercharger, and add the supercharger as funds allow. You may even consider an iron block for your goals. A cage would be a wise choice around this time! Finally put some stickies on that bad boy and see what it will do!

Adding a bunch of power (heads, cam, blower etc) on the stock motor and rear end will result in broken parts.

Trust me on this one.

I'd personally go supercharger next. Here's why: get the supercharger out of the way, get NICE power. Right after, do you 12 bolt--you'll really need it. Then you can do a torque converter and beef up the tranny as well before you do your heads/cam. Then when you decide to do the heads/cam, get a nice set of heads, but have the speed shop get you a custom cam for a supercharger. Then of course the next thing would be to get forged internals, lower the CR so you can crank out mad boost. But yeah, I'd go S/C right now.
