Acura NSX Challenge
There's this dude with a sweet NSX I've seen on several occasions around the city. It looks like a newer model. Everytime I see him, he initiates a challenge by revving his engine, although I gave him a nice burnout last night. His plate reads "Il Smok U". I've had it to my chinny chin and I think its about time to try him. Does anybody know anything about these cars? Hp, trap times etc.

According to Road & Track (march '02) 1/4 mile 13.4@ 105.9. 290 Hp, 224 Torque, weight 3100lbs. I was about to race one last night in my completely stock 2000 SS, but I never got a chance. I think he would have got me though.
all depends on the car and driver too..
remember they are light.. and MT shows them at 13.4 and ours at 13.7.
They are quick.. I think its a good race.. but I know of some modded ones here that raced at the SCCA solo II events and they would be the only ones able to mess with the Vipers going down the freeway.. Of course the Vipes would run to 180 and they would be wondering when they were going to see 160 while everyone else was trying for 140..
I wouldnt mind racing one if I had the opportunity...

It should be a good race. I have beat both that I have tangled with on the street. The older ones aren't close to LS1 performance.
