Re: a4,,m6???

if its got a clutch...it's an M (manual) 6 (six speed)

if not...it's boring...i mean an A (automatic) 4 (speed)

usually pretty easy to tell

EDIT:
was trying to sound witty at 7:16am...sorry if i sounded rude

Re: a4,,m6???

if you frequent the lounge....
TTIWWOP - this thread is worthless with out pics
PIIHB/PIIHP - put it in her butt/ put it in her pooper

rwhp - rear wheel hp, measured on a dyno
stb - strut tower brace
phb - panhard bar
sfc - subframe connectors
lca - lower control arms
maf - mass air flow sensor
tb - throttle body
F-body or Fbod - the camaro/firebird platform of cars
4th gen - fourth generation camaro/firebird 93-02
cam - camshaft (we only have one in case you were wondering)
AIR - air injection pump, part of the emissions
EGR - exhaust gas recirculation, part of emissions
cats - catalytic converters...good for environment...bad for hotrodders
cat back - aftermarket exhaust that replaces the stock system, typically from the cats or Ypipe back

Re: a4,,m6???

some others,
APHB - Adjustable panhard bar. You'll see that with LCA, TA etc
TA - torque arm or Trans Am. Have to look at the context and not to be confused with T&A.
LT - long tube as in headers
shorties - short headers
mids or mid length - also headers.
CAI - cold air intake
lid - air box lid, usually non-stock
! in front of anything - means delete. Ex, !EGR, !skip shift - The EGR and skipshift had been deleted.
ORY - off road Y pipe.

TTFN - something Tigger says. "Ta ta for now." Probably won't see that much on here though.

I think what you meant to say was:

If it's got a clutch....missed shifts, my clutch is slipping and or I just blew up my 10 bolt..... it's a M (manual) 6 (six speed)

If not.....It can get a high stall torque converter with a high STR (stall torque ratio) and earn the win light (1/4 mile tracks) then it's an A (automatic) 4 (speed)
