How can that be?? That's what my car used to rev at with 2.73's (TWO point seven three) but now with 3.73's (THREE point seven three) the engine is revving "roughly" ~2600 rpm to do 70 mph. 80 mph it's turning about ~2900 rpm, or thereabouts. Heck, even at 60 mph, the engine is still at ~2200 rpm, so HOW can your engine ONLY be revving ~2000 - 2100 at 70 mph with 3.73's?!?!?!?! Are you sure you don't have a six speed and you're referring to revs in 6th gear?!

Are you sure you re-programmed your SPEEDOMETER when you changed the gears?! Seriously dude, that ain't right?! I agree the tachs may not be 100% accurate, and I would even believe +/- 300 rpm, but you're talking almost ~1000 rpm lower at 70 mph than mine!! Trust me, I know what the numbers were before, and I did the math, AND re-programmed with Hypertech, and everything is reading what I predicted and what it should. If your speedo still thought you had 2.73's, it would read ~70 mph when your revving ~2000 rpm in OD, but I guarantee you that's not right................it just doesn't make sense?!:blah:

Whoa man! I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything!? It just seems weird to me that there's that much difference? Oh well, as long as it all works, who really cares right?
