9sec 1/4 possible w/ this setup?

98 LS1 WS6

Racenet preformance 409ci (Iron Block)
-4340 Forged Steel Crankshaft
-ARP Main Studs
-Oliver Billet E4340 Connecting Rods
-JE or Diamond Forged Pistons
-Rotating Assembly Balanced
-JE or Diamond Plasma Moly File Fit Rings
-Federal Mogul or Clevite Race Bearings
-New GM Oil Pump
-New Comp Cams Timing Chain Set

NX Direct port 200Hp shot
40lb injectors
MTI stage 3 LS1 Heads
MTI stealth 1 cam .581 .581
Fast lsx manifold
Hooker long tubes
Hooker catback
90mm TB

Racing Tranny w/3200 stall
ford 9 inch w/3.73
Wide slicks

Would this setup work? Would it drop me in the single digits?
Any suggestions?
Oh ya and which pistons are better the Diamond or the JE
What catback will allow free flow but make it quite so it is kinda a sleeper?
What is the max lift on stock motor?

Possible, but you're leaving a lot on the table with a 3200 stall ... go at least 3800 ...

Ture and I know I should get a higher stall but I have read that the high stall the less Nitrous you can go with. I would really like to spray around a 200 shot.

Don't forget the suspension! Tanner might be able to give you some clues when it comes to springs, air bags, etc.

3800 isn't that high ... also depends if you are spraying off the line or not ...

as has been said go with a little higher stall like a 3500 or a 3800
ditch the Hooker headers and get some stepped race headers
you are going to need some major suspension work, we at FFHP use Spohn, like LCA's, Torque and sway bar, pan hard rod etc or you could go 4 link.

why spend all that money to only go .581 lift on a cam? that setup should see a cam in the .630 lift range with the right pistons clearence won't be an issue.

so to answer your question that setup would be good for 9's

we are building a 409ci iron block with some serious compression and our own LS6 Stage 3 stroker heads and hope to see... well we expect it to be fast.

Well I was just trying to get an idea of what I should expect. As for the Cam I am going with MTI stealth Cam because I want it to be more of a sleeper. I think I am going to go with borla exaust and put the plates in so that I can make it quite. I want my car to soud like a stock TA with exaust and destroy just about anything that comes in my path. I know I am losing a good bit of power with going with a lower lift cam but I was also hoping to put on some higher rr and maybe increase it that way.
