97 & 98 corvette owners regulator related

I have a LS6 in a 1997 GMC reg cab step side.

I'm using the return style fuel rail off of a 98 vette.

Do I hook the regulator to vacuum or leave it unhooked?

I have done a lot of searches and never found a clear answer.

thanks, Kris

If its anything like a normal style FPR,then yes you need to hook the vacuum port to a manifold vauum port.

As you give it throttle and the vacuum goes down (such as when you stand on it to smoke the ford in the other lane), when the vacuum goes towards zero thats how it lets the fuel pressure increase to feed the injectors.

Hope that helps.
