Is it custom-fit for a 4th gen F-Body?

If so, that sounds like a good deal. The 8 point also will run about 80lbs, and installation will be about $200 or so due to removing the carpet and seats, and the weld work.

Tube weight shipped is about 100lbs after you trim it to where you want it about 90lbs. Look at spending about $300 for install with the carpet and interior stripped by you and cage painted by you. It's a great kit they just leave some fab work so you can mount it the way you want.

Robvas: I don't know who your remarks are aimed at.... stik6shift98 is asking about the 8point there is no halo or dash bars to hit your head on if this is what your talking about. If your trying to take some kind of pop shot on me well lets line them up this summer. My old combo went 11.7 @ 122mph on a little dry shot...and the new FI combo should be...well lets just say quite a bit faster. Oh and the reason I went with the 10 point was for safety against getting pinned between the roof of the car and the hoop of the cage in a roll over. Then again what do I know I only work as a safety engineer for one of the Big 3 and crash cars for a living.

 

How bout why poste if your not answering the question? you always give poeple attitude like this! when you can't even drive your car you just got an ls1 and already fudged it up suposedly on ice. if you don't have anything worth adding why bother....

I got caught in a snowstorm driving 700 miles halfway across the country! Sorry, it was my 15th hour in snow/ice. Nothing I could do when it spun man! What I can do is tear my front bumper off, race you without a freaking cage and then you can STFU?

why get a cage if you dont need one. they aren't cool looking. they are annoying as hell.
