519 RWHP from a bolt-on + H/C package??

I just read on some forums that I frequent, some guy is claiming he made 519rwhp from a bolt-on LS1 M6 with a Patriot Performance Stage 2 LS6 ported heads/Cam package. Stock cubes -from what I read- and no power adder.

I know LS1's have great potential, but most Head/cam LS1's I have seen vary from 415-460rwhp...but damn 519 to the wheels?? You think it can happen or is he BS'ing? I can copy/paste his post if you would like to read what he had to say.

Possibly 520 engine hp but not rwhp. Most head cam bolt on cars will do around 400 maybe to 440 or so . Yes with nitrous maybe otherwise he is full of it if he is talking rwhp.

It's not gunna happen N/A, espeacially with Patriot heads. Maybe flywheel HP or power adder, but not N/A RWHP.

Only one I've seen hit numbers like that had a "bolt on" supercharger.

There have been 2 LS1s, to my knowledge, that did actually dyno a touch over 500rwhp on stock cubes. Both had forged rods and pistons (stock crank), heavily worked LS6 heads, very large cams (235+ intake duration, not sure on the exhaust) and had to turn a little over 7000rpm to do it. Might be possible to do on the stock bottom end if the person in question is brave enough to rev it that high. Very impressive. Also, I wouldn't doubt it if the latest AFR Mongoose heads could do more.

Could be done. Not with patriot heads though.

werd...i havent seen a patriot headed car get that close as of yet...gomer(scott) made like 475 with their heads about a year ago but nobody that ive heard of has come close...cartek, lg, ttp have all gone over the 500hp mark on stock cubes i think the cartek car just had a fresh rebuild when it did it but was on stock replacement internals, not sure about the other two...520 on stock cubes is pretty over the top though.

If it made that kind of power on the dyno, he either dyno'd in the wrong gear, or the dyno isn't reading correctly. There's no way he's making that kind of power with those heads, bolt ons, and an LS6 cam

What?

I'll reiterate what everyone else has said though. It ain't gonna happen on a stock bottom end with the Patriot H/C package.
