Hey Guys I'm building a 408 Iron Block Short Block, I already have the Iron Block and suggestions from You on what other Parts I may need to Buy to complete my Short Block , I want to Purchase The Eagle brand Products due to my Budget . I have LS6 Heads but I'm waitng for the Short Block to be done first before I have them touched ..... Here are my needs on this Motor -- (500 N/A --300 Shot )

These parts will allow you to make 800 engine hp safely.
The main problem with the Eagle Kits is lack of piston choice as you are stuck with a -2cc flat top which will give you a 12.5:1 compression ratio woth the LS6 heads. Diamond has a -15cc dish piston that will give you about 10.5:1 compression.
12.5:1 is not pump gas friendly.
