400RWHP from BOLT-ON 06 C6 Z51

2006 6 6-speed Z51 with LG coated Long Tubes, X-pipe, no cats, LPE intake, LSX Fast Intake, with Ed Wright Dyno Tuning. Car still has factory Mufflers.
These dyno numbers where in the Pooring down rain yesterday at Tulsa Oklahoma and that cost us anywhere from 15-20 Flywheel. Car has 4,000 miles on it. I was happy to say the least. ED WRIGHT IS THE BEST

That makes me sick, for me to be able to pull those numbers on my LT1 I would have to an H/C swap. You on the other hand just have some basic bolt ons. Damn those LSX heads.

Don't believe the hype. A FAST intake manifold setup is NOT a bolt-on. That's like calling heads "bolt-ons."

BTW, Futral Motorsports is one of the best LS1 tuners in the country, not Ed Wright.

Kraest opinions are like *******s everybody has one. Futral Motorsports didn't crack the LS2 code first did they, want to take a guess who did. Fast intake isn't a bolt on, you got to be kidding. Intakes have always been considered bolt ons, ever read Gm Hi Tech, or seen one of their bolt on shootouts. Please explain to me in your vast array of knowledge why the fast is not a bolt on. Wait a minute please don't post again b/c I don't care what you have to say.

Apparently you do, because I already got under your thin skin.

Enjoy your non-bolt-on car.

well I don't know what he charges for a dyno tune on a LS1, just call and ask Monday. The knew LS2 was $650. Mail order tune for me would have been $450. Its worth it compared to what other mods cost and the amount of hp they produce.

So I guess you think a throttle body isnt a bolt on either? Headers bolt to the heads, guess they arent bolt ons either.

I think its all about oppinion... i wouldnt consider rocker arms bolt ons, but everyone says they are, same with an intake manifold... Then again look at how most new engines are sold: only oilpan up to heads, no intake or carb/TB

Any intake is considered a bolt on mod. Only mods that touch oil are considered non bolt on.
Christ that's like saying that Flowtech headers are a bolt on and Kooks aren't.
Bolt on mods are things that are bolted on to the outside of the motor. TBs, LTs, intakes, y-pipes, cat backs, El waterpumps, pullies, MAFs, air filters, removing PS, AC, EGR, AIR.

In the LT1 arena they allow 1.6 rockers and can still go for the bolt-on record and in LS1s they allow pushrods. These exceptions are because they are such a common mod to any of the cars with these engines.
