4.10 & 4.56 gears in M6
Spring will eventually come and I'm sure many of us are looking forward to going to the drag strip.
I'm interested in changing my 3.42 gears to 4.10 and possibly 4.56. I spoke with Don Stelhorn at SLP. I'm told that I do not need the paddle kit since I have an Auburn rear. He also said that SLP no longer has a supplier for gears. Any comments on Jeg's or Richmond gears.
I'm looking for better off the line times and I'd also like to use 5th and 6th gear.
What can you tell me about the gears, about speedometer calibration, etc.
I've heard most of the bad comments about changing gears. I want to keep the same rear end appearance for show purposes. Thank you for your comments.
