Question 3.73s and 4.10s

yet another question. if i were to add either of these gears to my car would i see an increase in tq?

Actual Torque? no

you not increasing the output of the motor.

You can change the applied torque at the tire. It doesnt actually change the engine output. Im really not good at explaining this.

I think the simplest way to say it, is its "false torque"...

someone else who knows the actual answer to this please explain it. I cant.. lol

The out put of your motor of course would not change but through using a lower gear ratio(numericaly higher) you would see an increase in torque multiplication. This makes it easier for your car to accelerate the weight of your car and will allow your car to rev up faster through the gears.
