I was wondering if i put 3.73 gears in my Z28 will it effect the speedometer or the cars computer since its an automatic

 

It will effect you speedometer, you will be turning more Mph than what you actualy are, so if you do it you need a hypertech or a speed calibrator.

I went from 2.73's to 3.42's and corrected the speedo with HPP3 because it also resets WOT shifts for the new ratio.
