1999 Z28 Camaro solenoids.
1999 Z28 Camaro solenoids.
Well i dropped the transmission pan and drained it all out. Noticed one of the solenoids towards the front of the Camaro was not "springy" like the one next to it. I put lucas oil in it to lube up the valves it worked a little but there still isnt much spring in it. Could this be causing the car to get to 30mph then rev up but not move? Sometimes it will go up to 50mph no problem but then rev up again. What could the problem be? And how could i fix it? Thanks guys.
EDIT: and also could you tell me which 2 are shift solenoids and which 2 are the pressure solenoids. And what each type of solenoid does.

If the solenoids were going bad, it would be throwing codes. The 1-2 shift seems to go bad pretty regularly.
If it is just revving after a shift, it is probably missing the whole gear. Did you try shifting it manually?
