Hi all i got a 1998 z28. It is mostly stock. I got slp y pipe and full exhaust(also slp) and a air lid with k&n. I would like to do a cam. Has anyone done a cam? If so what one. What did you get as far as hp? Also im looking for any other mods i can do to get my et's down. Best time so far is 13.28 @106.

There are so many cams out there, it's impossible for us to tell you what you want. Give us some more info and we can help you out.

Daily driver? Still want it to be streetable? Mild or ***** to the wall cam? Largest hp gain possible? Willing to swap springs etc?

 

it is my dayly driver. I need a mild cam i think, I still want it to be streetable, but i also would like to see some hp gains. I am also going to do rockers, push rods, and springs.

I have the Thunder Racing TR220 cam on a 114 LSA. It made 380 rwhp and 372 rwtq. Driveability is great, and it recently got 28.2 mpg on a highway trip. My only complaint is that it idles so well you have to listen to know there is a cam in it.
