ps - the entire tank, never went over 1800 rpm... normally 1500-1800
1st - 10 mph
2nd - 20 mph
3rd - 25 - 30 mph
4th - 30 mph
5th - 35 - 40 mph
6th - 48 - 55 mph
(all these numbers are averages i guess, cant be exact...)
is driving in 6th gear around 1100 rpm worste than driving in 5th at around 1600??? i was thinking maybe more stress on engine that low... dunno...

Keep in mind if you shift too early, you will find yourself giving it more gas to accelerate using more fuel, even if you don't think you are. Anyways, 18 mpg in the city is damn good in my opinion. Mine gets 21-22mpg with 50% highway and 50% city.

I used to get 18 MPG in the city on my stock 3.42 rear. Now, with the 4.11 rear, I get 17 MPG.
58K miles, oil slipping past the piston rings, but I'm not paying the grease monkeys to install the new ring kit. I'll just continue buying oil in the 5 quart jugs.
