Question 17's or 18's RIMS help please which ones??====>

I THINK IM GOING TO BUY NEW CHROME ZO6 CORVETTE RIMS WHEELS, 18 INCH REARS 17 INCH FRONTS OR SHOULD I DO 17"S ALL AROUND OR 18" ALL AROUND. WHAT WOULD IT DO FOR SIZE OR TIRES?? WHAT WOULD IT DO FOR THE FEEL OF THE DRIVE AND WHAT WOULD LOOK THE BEST AND SO ON. ANY INFO YOU CAN ADD WILL DEF. HELP THANKS. O AND I HAVE THE HPP3 SO I CAN FIX THE SPEEDO.

O AN ALSO HOW WIDE CAN IT BE IN MY CAR CAUSE I HAVE A CONVERTIBLE ITS A 95 Z 9.5 OR CAN 11'' FIT??? WHY OR WHY NOT THANKS

I DON'T UNDERSTAND 17S ALL AROUND WHY SMALLER Y NOT 18S IN THE REAR DO BIG RIMS AND TIRES MAKE IT DRIVE WORSE OR SOME THING??

I WILL BE USEING IT AS A DAILY DRIVER THAT LIKES TO CRUSH ALL IMPORTS AND LS1's

i do have ****ty handleing on corner but i only have stock 16s now
and with a solid rear axle setup like the F-Bodys have, what do think of me putting in 4.10s!!

if you drive hard like most true camaro guys, you'll want the 17's for the price of replacing tires.

plus my buddy has 18s and at the track his times are worse....

get 17s like the rest of us

even better...with 17 by 11 in back on a 315 tire

technically not taking traction into account for straight line acceleration the 16s you have are your best bet. Since your tire width is very limited on a 16 inch wheel, you will need something bigger though. 18s would really hurt track times since the wheels do tend to get heavy and as mentioned b4 18 inch tires cost serious $$. 17s would be your best all around bet for traction and performance. Theyre weight wont make a noticeable difference from 16s and you can get a 17 by 11 with the 315s and not only will you grip nicely but 315s on f-bod look

Is that a joke or something?

(tell that to all the people with stock LS1's who broke their stock rear's)

BTW, in the future, learn how to use your caps lock key and TURN IT OFF

The 18" wheels have more mass and more inertia than 17" wheels, so the 18" rims will slow you down a bit. If I were you, I'd get the 17" rims. 18"s don't look all that much better than 17"s anyway IMO.
