17 in or 18 in Rims???

I won't be using these when I drag race but are 18s to much for still messing around on the streets and taking corners??

They are not too much for messing around, but you have to be a little more catious when driving over speed bumps and potholes.

Did you have to modify anything in the wheel well for the 18"s? I am soon doing the same thing. But I am going 17" up front and 18" in the rear (they are vette take-offs).

I didn't have to "massage" the fender at all. My wheels have a 54mm offset. With the vette takeoffs if you get the right spacers they should fit fine then. I know whitedeathls1 on ls1.com has vette takeoffs so you could ask him what size spacers he is running.

If you are not going to use them at the track, then go with the 18" They look awesome and they still handle great. The right wheel with the right offset will flush right on without any modications...
