I've actually noticed that my mileage has become more consistant since I put in the 3.73's, and for pure city driving, I think it's actually better before than with 2.73's. Since you've got 3.23's, they're probably a good "middle-of-the-road" gear, that will give you decent mileage for city-type driving (ie: "jackrabbiting" all day) so that's probably why it wasn't that bad mixed with some highway.

I get 20-21mpg, half city half highway. Highway driving around 85mph. It is a M6 w/ SLP exhaust, SLP lid and 4:10 rear. My tires do not appreciate my driving habits, so I guess this is really good fuel millage.

If you all would use your 1 to 4 skip shift in town, you would get well over 20, The whole reason for that feature is gas mileage.

Skip Shift, I love it, the shifter flows right into 4th,

I only get around 17 at best and 13 mpg at the worse. I however live in Traffic congested Southern Ca which is stop and go on both the highway and city.

Check your tire pressure? I checked mine today and sure enough one of the rears was 12lb low. And I was experiencing lower gas mileage. So now we'll see if that was the issue. Plus I was running half new plugs half old, but now all new.

I check my tire pressure once I week and even at 30psi in all tires I get crappy mpg. I don't care though since I don't drive the car all that much. 4100 miles in 9 months.

Well actually I usually get around 24 mpg Combo of City and Freeway.. And I am not always driving easy as well...

One thing that shocked the hell out of me was the last time I 60 miles 1 way on a trip I had to make around 2 weeks ago, my car used 4 gallons of gas total for going down there and back... I was averaging 80 mph and I got 30 mpg... The only mod my car has is Dynomouth exhaust... rest of car is stock down to paper filter...

The only time I did get 17 mpg in my car was the fact that I sat in one spot for 45 minuets because of traffic!!! Otherwise I get around 19 - 22 in town...

Just try to shift your car in lower rpms.. That could be the reason why you are getting 17 mpg..

Hmmm, I get 22mpg over the course of 2 full tanks driving down and back through central Illinois with no A/C @70mph. I highly doubt skip shift is going to improve that. If I'm getting 22 on the highway, I'm having a hard time envisioning 20 in town no matter how I drive. And yes, my tire pressure is checked regularly.
