After getting my new wheels, my brakes look too small.

1. Is it functional to put Z06 12.8in rotors with stock calipers?

I did a search on C5/Z06 brakes. Couldn't find an answer to my question. In fact, the more I search the mores ?s I have.

2. Is LG the only company that sells the conversion kit? I went to their site, and it looks like they are still in development of the kit?

3. Does anybody know the wieght diff btwn stock LS1 rotors and Z06 rotors? Some of the brake kits I saw offered 12-22lbs each rotor, and I read that Z06 rotors are 4lbs lighter than Baer GT+ Rotors, so how much less than LS1 rotors?

 

The LG brake kit has long been out of development. I have had it for close to 2 years. They are slow to put things on their website.

The kit works fine. You can use the stock calipers or upgrade to Z06 calipers for a little bling-bling.

 

do the Z06 caliper grip any better? So I CAN use the stock calipers even with the directional rotors? How big of rotors can I use with the stock calipers? Thanks for the pics
