I noticed the lounge topic got locked by some immature newbies before your question could be answered.

This one has a link in it to a 11.5 bolt on but the record is suppose to be lower.

Bolt on time in sig ... that was in a +1400 D/A in summer and at a 3675 raceweight ... I would have made 11's in the winter, but washed out a cylinder and went H/C while the engine was apart ...

Getting an LS1 into the 11s on bolt ons is just a combination of good set up, some weight reduction, waiting for good weather on a decent track and some decent driving skills ...

Thanx, I'm trying to see what the parts list, considered "bolt-ons" is, that they are using to get into the 11's..??
Are they considering heads, "bolt-onS"??
I usually think of bolt-ons as external mods excluding heads, cam, intake etc...
I think it's great! hitting 11's with bolt-ons...takes right to the big Viper!...not to mention cleans house on most imports!.....
Thanx for the info guys, I also found an L98 over at MFBA that runs 12.83 @ 105 with TPI! and bolt-ons!

hope that works...
Thanx!

Correct. Bolt-ons do NOT include heads, cam, anything internal. I would consider an intake manifold as a bolt-on though.

Most people go by the rule that if oil touches it, it is not a bolt on....

Well for an A4 (which is better suited for bolt-on sucess IMO) my bolt-on list would be:

1). LS6 intake manifold (if it's a 98-00 model car)

2). LT headers

3). ORY with no cats or HF cats

4). Lid

5). Cutout ot catback

6). SSRA or FTRA ram air setup

7). Baur Throttle Body

8). ASP underdrive pulley

9). ET Streets

10). 3500-4000 stall Torque Converter

11). Trans cooler for Torque Converter

12). Shift Kit for Torque Converter

13). LS1 edit or pay for a good tune to get max effiency from above list.

That's off the top of my head and I'm sure I missed a few but I think that's good for high 11's. Well if the track is at a decent elevation, the weather is cool and the launch good it should hit 11's.
