hey guys i will be deploying next month. i plan on brining home 10 grand atleast. i plan on using my 2004 tax return to put down for an ls1. what mods do you recommend for a daily street car. im looking for an auto. i wanna put down atleast 370rhwp.

You can get a set of patriot heads for around a grand to start and best of all no core charge, around 3-400 hundred for a cam(even cheaper if you decide to go LS6)....way cheaper options out there then that gmmg catback(loudmouth,hooker). Long tubes for LS1's are fairly cheap (theres many brands)....That should give more then the power your lookin for and cost under 3 grand.

 

Yank SS3600, skip the throttle body, add a TransGo kit and a cooler to the trans, and there's a ton of good cams out there that work well with stock heads, check around before committing to a certain brand.

 

I would do a stall converter 3000-3200, dyno tune, and the basic bolt ons. and a set of nittos
