10.85 in a Z06 stock with drag radials
I dont know if this has been posted yet, couldn't find it in the search but a member over at Digitalcorvettes.com finnaly dipped below 11's in his Z06.

10.85 with nothing more than drag radials and if you listen in the video he says theres more in it with perfect shifting!

I've lurked around a little on corvetteforum.com as well, and I know that Ranger had the record before for a C5Z ... I believe he ran ~11.7's or 11.8's with a bone stock Z06

I was reading about his reports from the first time he had the C6Z at the track ... he got an 11.20 @ 127, but knew the car had more in it. Clearly, he was right

just read the latest issue of Motor Trend i think.. they had Viper vs Z06 vs GT500.... 500hp battle...
Z06 was quicker down the quarter.. but Viper was quicker at the track by like 1/100 of a second.... Viper has fatter and better tires, according to them.. resulting in better grip on launch and cornering

Especially on Top Gear. The Z06 was .4 or something like that behind the Ford GT and was like 1 second faster then the Viper.
