most cops like my car and know me...... they won't pull over someone that they watched get outta it wearing brown carhart bibs the day before lol. the one who said i was racing also talked trash aboutg it and said how his 302 mustang would beat it. what he didn't know doesn't hurt em and keeps me outta more trouble

i hate it when people put their insurance under someone elses name. that pisses me off. all that does is jack up everyones insurance. i have a 20% discount and it cost me 275/month to insure my car. along with my 500 dollar/month car payment. it is canadian dollars but still what the hell do you guys that are 16-18 that say the car is yours do for a living? ive had mine for 2 years and im 20 now, and i know i started working when i was 15 to save up money, and i still have 10g left to pay.

yep, a country boy can make one ton of cash raising the cow you have on ur platter
i've been working since i was 12 investing all my money into cows and horses..... studied when a good time to buy and sell was and make my money. if i wrecked the car or even put a scratch in it i would honestly think about shooting myself. i'm sure all in here knows how it is, i've lived and worked my life for something and i'd be one mad redneck if it was taken away. i've never been in a wreck and have well over 120k miles under my belt

I was 17 when i got my ls1. I started working when I was 13. I also have completely restored a 67 Camaro. I guess it depends on how much you work. I work at Advance Auto Parts so my employee discount helped me out alot. I drive both of my cars very sensibly. Why abuse them when you have to work so hard to get them? I know there are some kids out there that would abuse the car if they got it, but there are some, like myself, that treasure their cars. It makes me angry though when I see 40 year olds racing in the middle of town. Save it for the track. Just my .02

im 19, i have a 2003 dodge ram hemi and my LS1. both of them are in MY name and i pay for every cent of them. i pay 352 a month on the dodge and 190 for the T/A. im about to pay off the T/A and ive had it for about 6 months. Just sleep good at night knowing that our tax dollars are funding my dreams. If your young and want to make good money, join the military.

I'll throw in my ¢.02..
I have been "preaching" the vitues of driving over mods to my customers.. One in particular has been listening since he has seen me drive.
He is 17 as well and has sold his 94 TT RX7 and his parents got him a 2003 Mach1.. He was ready to throw more of moms and dads money at it when I told him to learn to drive first.. He has since had 4 trips to the track.. He started off running 14.0's and got a best of 13.5... His next trip was packed full of 13.5's with a 13.39 thrown in.. On his third trip he was upset with a bunch of 13.5's but started focusing on his launching and 60 foot.. He came back last night with a 13.2 and a 13.1 60 foot.. You can visibly see he is feeling really good about himself. Not 1 mod done.. Just added to his skills. Now when he does decide to mod he will be able to get the most out of each because he is DRIVING his car well and will know he is..
So kids (and I say kids because I got old Friday, I turned 33), LEARN to drive your cars and save your mod money!
