02 sensors

I might be getting pacesetter long tubes and tsp off road y pipe. Do I need new 02 sensors? I tried looking for bosch 1311s, but can't find any on a yahoo search. If I need em, anybody know where to look?

Re: 02 sensors

just because you install the headers doesn't mean you have to install new sensors.

although if you have alot of miles, it may be worth while

Here's what you will need for your Pacesetter LT header installation:

- one set of 24" O2 extensions
- one set of O2 simulators to plug into the rear O2 hookups
- one set of Percy's metal header gaskets (Pacesetter's gaskets are junk)

Your factory O2 sensors will more than likely be fine to screw into the primaries of your headers. I did headers at about 105K miles and my mech. said mine were in good shape.

Re: 02 sensors

Or better yet, forget the sims, buy into an unlimited tuning package, get the car dyno tuned for optimal A/F everywhere, and simply turn off the rear O2 check. Then when you do the NEXT mods, you can have it tuned for that....

C'mon, you know you want to!
