'01 LS1 shift problem

Hi everyone,

I have a rather odd situation. My tranny has been nothing but a pain in the butt since I've had this car. They had to re-condition it at 20,000 miles because my clutch plates got scorched. Now my more recent problem is this sometime, when I go around 68-72 MPH and give the car full gas it will shift (5500 rpms with my foot to the floor) then I won't accelerate any more for about 3-5 seconds my tach reads 3500 rpms. The only way to get out of it is to let off the gas or hold it for 5 seconds.

It drives me nuts when I try to pass on the freeway and it's an intermittent problem. Last time I took it to the dealer they had the car for 2 weeks said they couldn't duplicate it and I had to show them 4 times before anything was done. They put corvette parts in my tranny per GM Tech support but the problem is still there. Any one else deal with a similar problem or have any suggestions?

Thanks
