I want to sell my 2002 Z28 because I am in law school and can't afford it anymore, it is fully loaded except leather and traction, has t-tops and chrome rims and custom hood and more, is this a good price? Does anyone think that ebay would be worth it? How much does ebay cost? I live in Michigan so once again I would appreciate any help.

 

It really depends on the mileage, and what kind of condition it's in..

did u check KBB.com?

i got my '00 this past april.
it had 9,300 miles, stock, loaded, leather and all, i got for about 24k.

Sounds low. 2000's are going for $18-$20K around Chicago. Depending on what was done, mods don't add much to the value of the car and people rarely get their money back on them. I say list the car for a little higher and take the best offer. If you were to actually sell the car at $20K, it won't be a bad deal. Best advice, go to www.kelleybluebook.com or www.edmunds.com for a fair private party value. Best of luck to you.

Ok.. now on to the current issue.. I have been watching you try to sell your car.. This is what you need to do.. Take off all of your aftermarket parts and put it back to stock.. then it will sell.. WHY? well, if I were in the market, I wouldnt want a newly modded car.. I want to mod it myself... And how about the kids that want a modded car?? Well, they usually dont have the moeny for it!! So sell your parts individually and sell the car as a stock LS1 2002...
Better your chances.. The parts can go on here in the selling forum or on ebay..

I, myself, stray from any car with body mods as I hate to have non factory parts on the body. Just not my cup-o-tea. I would suggest jsut trying to list the car without the mods locally and see how it does.. If you start to get calls, start to turn some wrenches..

If this is not an option... then try trading people and in some cases do trades + $ for your parts.. to get the factory parts.

Thanks for the help, the car only has 13,000 miles and is in excellent condition. I will try taking the mods off and selling it mostly stock.
