both 94's few mods to each nothing to extrodinary what would you think would be faster. I figured it's be like dead even

The TA is heavier then the Z28 by a few hundred pounds. It all depends on the driver on how they can handle there car.

That's quite a lot!
It's from the extra body kit weight, and fancy leather seats with all the extra options that the car came with.

How many miles on each of the cars ? and do they both have the same tranny (auto or M6) ?. That could make a little bit of diff.

The Trans am looks WAYYY BETTER and has nicer interior. Go for the bird, the camaro is a sweet car but theres about 4 camaros for every trans am in the road. Performace wise you wont be able to tell the difference i doubt theres more than a 100lbs difference. Camaro is just to plain in my opinion. I have a 94 trams am it it stands out way more than any 4th gen camaron i've seen.
