mine used to work form about 35 feet...batteries died now it only works from like 5 feet is i push it several times...

i found if you push in the middle of the remote then press the button it works from about 30 feet again, i took it apart and bent the tabs for the battery any other fixes?

Mine does the same thing, but it's gotten to where it only works at night. You can try to clean the contacts with rubbing alcohol, but that's just a temporary fix.
