In your opinion what is the best spark plug?
Re: In your opinion what is the best spark plug?
Since not a months experience, I cannot speak for my current plug, NGK TR55s -- the price sure is attractive though, especially if you paln on changing them every year as I do...IMO, that's a good reason to go over factory plugs..... If I wanted to go 3-5 years, I'd be running stock though.

you must be joking!!!
of the 2 sets of stock plugs that i've removed from my cars, a 96 and a 99, both with around 50k miles... 4 plugs from each car had the platnum plug missing!!
i wouldn't reuse stock plugs if they were free!!
at $2 each...the NGKs are fine with me. even if they don't give you the "advertised" life that plats do..for the cost i can change them 2 or 3x more often and still spend the same.

I'm very happy with my NGK Iridium... of course I would never spend that kind of money on anything besides my Camaro though.
I have a 93 Mazda pick up that I switched to NGK something lol.. I can't remember exactly which ones, but they weren't iridium. They were more in the middle price range. But omg, I didn't think that they would smooth out the idle so much. The truck idled 10x better, even though I think the old spark plug were the wrong gap.. that may have not helped either lol
My vote is for any NGK ones.
