Yeah!!! Cutout installed.

Finally I have a cutout and its sweet!!!! It really makes my car scream and I love it. Every camaro or TA should have these things because they are fantastic. Now I can intimidate the little rice burners even more with this sound.

LOL! It definitely does make the car louder, but that interior resonance always gave me a headache after a while.

Gained 3 mph in the 1/4 by adding just a cutout.....

The only thing I don't like about them is the loss of low end on the street. But they more than make up for it at the track. Sweet man, glad you like it

Ahh the common misnomer... Actually with a cutout you gain power, what you feel is a loss of torque down low... The torque is not gone though it is just moved up in the RPM band...

Back pressure is not an engines friend... The free flowing nature of the cutout allows exhaust gases to be expelled by the engine easier so that it frees up engine power... On the dyno you will see higher numbers also...

Congrat's on the latest mod I love mine... I've left it un-capped nearly the entire time since I had it installed about 2 months ago. I don't get much resonance inside, least nothing annoying. The only thing that rattled was the ashtray so I just took it out since I don't smoke anyways.

I've been meaning to get one for the last couple of years.

Do any of you have it exiting on the elbow right before the muffler at the rear of the car?
If so - did you have to get a muff shop to custom make one?

It is installed in the I-pipe just before the rear axle. Their is a space that it fits perfectly in. It only takes 30 minutes to install.

Did you have it installed at a muffler shop? About what do they charge for it?
