y2k c5 rims on 98 t/a

My friend is looking at these rims for his t/a:

POLISHED CORVETTE C-5 REPLICA WHEELS 2000
REAR WHEEL SIZE ( 18 X 9 1/2 ) OFFSET 65mm
FRONT WHEEL SIZE ( 17 X 8 1/2 ) OFFSET 56mm
BOLT PATTERN - ( 5 lug on 4 3/4" )

He wants to know if they will rub, and if they are the correct offset (so they dont stick out like his current rims). Pictures would be great with the 18 rear and 17 front but all i need is an answer he wants to order them off ebay tomorrow. He also wants to know what tires.

Go there, I'm sure you can find several pictures. Not sure on the offset for the rears, but I know the 56mm will be right on. I am pretty sure they will work though. The rear fender lips might possibly need to be rolled under, but that's common going to a larger wider wheel.

Check some of the C5 pics in my sig. I had absolutely no rubbing probs, they were 2000 Y2K OEM GM wheels (Speedlines).
Hope this helps....Laterzzz
