My wifes car is going to a indoor car show this weekend and we are making one of those things that state all the facts and whatnot about the car..... anyways, we have production numbers on the 97 but we were wondering if anyone new details? Like # of autos (hers is a auto) and cloth interiors and whathavya. Also did these cars leave the factory as a regular TA and have the goodies put on them at SLP? Any other neat facts about this semi-rare car would be greatly appreciated.( I think production numbers were about 2,000)

 

yes, they left the factory with normal TA/Formula equipment which was removed by SLP, then converted to WS6 cars at the factory. I believe there were around 2500 T/As, and only 473 Formula's converted that year. I know that SLP did not keep good track of records for the conversions because they were being replaced on the WS6 conversion by ASC who does the LS1 cars.
