ws6 formula vs firehawk
ws6 formula vs firehawk
ok, guys, what is the difference between a 96-97 firehawk and a ws6 formula. i know slp did the mods to the hawks, but did slp do the work on the ws6 cars then too? i know the hoods( pretty close but a hair different) and the wheels are different
Re: ws6 formula vs firehawk
SLP did both conversions. In '96 and '97 the Firehawks were built FROM Formula WS6 cars actually.
The Firehawks had more options available and more upgrades from the factory. The wheels are actually the same (Different centercaps). I believe the main differences was in the suspension and exhaust for the Firehawk.

Re: ws6 formula vs firehawk
I'll try and straighten some of that out for you.
SLP built both Firehawk's, and WS6's. However the Firehawk was not made from a WS6 though. Both came as Formula's from GM then SLP added the specific parts. Main difference's between the two are Wheels/tires, Suspension options, Exhuast options, the LT4 available for the Firehawk only in 1997, build # for Firehawk's.

I think the LT4 f-bodies will be the next Yenkos and COPOS that you will see at Barret Jackson some day.
