Wow

I just had to post this to say that Optima batteries are well owrth it. I have an electric fan switch, and i forgot to turn them off when i pulled in to the banquet parking lot last night. (duhr! lol im a moron!) anyway, the banquet was about 2 hours long. i got out to my car (still havent noticed at this time) and it started just like it should. i didnt even notice they were on until i pulled in to my quiet driveway, turned off the car, and heard them spinning. quite a surprise. it still makes me mad that i could ahve been that absent minded, but at least it started.

Re: Wow

Yep, I love the Optima batteries. I have one in the Z, one in my full size Blazer, and one in my Wife's Xterra.

I came out of work one day to find my fans were on (due to hitting the manual fan switch by accident I guess, when getting out of my car). After 9 or so hours of being in the office, the car still started up. It was a bit slow to crank, but still had enough juice to start.

Thomas.

Re: Wow

I really like my Optima as well. I notice a big difference in the time it takes the car to start. With the Optima, I'll turn the key and it'll fire right up. With the "other" battery, it would take 2-3 seconds before firing up.

Re: Wow

You guys with fan switches need to wire LEDs for low/high speed fans.
