Windshield hack job..how can I fix it?

My car's previous owner had the windshield replaced after a wreck. It looks like either someone didn't know what they were doing, or something in the pillars maybe is warped. The corners of the glass at the top dont lay flush with the roof and it looks as though the whole thing is not quite where it should be. As you can see in the pics, someone put some kind of sealer in the gaps.
How do I go about removing the glass and replacing it and making it look right? Or is this something a "professional" needs to do?

Thanks for any advice.

Hey man, by just looking at the pictures, I'd say you could get away with just having the windshield resealed. My buddies is doing the same thing but his is alot worse. If you wanted to, after whoever does the work to get the windshield off, you could drive it to a local bodyshop and have them mount it on the frame puller and check it out. That will cost around $70 though (plus hourly labor if they have to pull it any, which is around $42 here). They will be able to tell you exactly if it's where it should be or if it needs to be pulled. IMO, worth the money because you wouldn't want to have the windshield taken back out if indeed it does need some work on the frame puller. Goodluck.

I agree 100%. as said above, remove the windshield and clean up all the old glue. Use a razor blade to clean it from the glass. I'd have a guy from the glass shop look at it and tell you if he can get it to fit properly, if not take it to a body shop and have it pulled strait.
