will i lose my blower motor...
Re: will i lose my blower motor...
If you remove the evap core enclosure which is the box you see sticking into the engine compartment then yes you lose everything. You could probably rig up something to keep heat but in my opinion you defeat the purpose by leaving the ducting and heater core in it. If your gonna be a bear be a grizzly. Remove everything having to do with HVAC.
If your just going to remove the compressor, accumulator, and condenser then leave the evap core and stuff alone thats cool but if your going to remove the evap core I suggest you go all the way. Its way too much work to leave any of that weight in there.

hmm.. the engine would look so clean. but its also nice having atleast the blower motor since i have no ac unit anymore. plus if the windows got foggy from driving around when its like 55*-60* at night i would have no way to clear them.

If this is a car your going to drive everyday or even "alot" then I would not do it. Leave the heater working. My car sits in the garage unless the weather is cooperating so if you plan on driving the car alot then leave the heat in.
