Will an ACDelco optispark say "ACDelco" on it?

One mechanic thinks another mechanic may have put in an aftermarket optispark. It looks like an ACDelco opti but he says their should be "ACDelco" labeled somewhere on it but we can't find it. Anyone know?

Thanks

It won't be labeled anywhere. What color is the cap?

It looks like the real thing. It has the tan color on the one side.

Then there is probably no way to know unless you tore it open, and if it works, there is no reason to do that. Hopefully the mechanic actually did go oem.

I did tear it open to identify if the leak was due to just the o-ring or if there was a problem with the opti. He still can't tell if the opti is ACDelco

My factory original opti did not have any AC-Delco markings on the outside.

He charged me the ACDelco price which was $571. If it was an aftermarket part then he pocketed a few hundred and you never know how long an aftermarket part will last. I prefer OEM parts.

Thanks for the responses. I will conclude it was OEM.
