Will a 5 speed bezel work on a M6 car?

Will a 5 speed bezel work on a M6 car?

Will a 93-96 shift boot and bezel work on a 6 speed car? People want way too much ($70+) for the M6 ones I can find.

Yes it will. I had one on mine for a while until I was able to find an entire parts car. The five speed boot is much taller than the 6 speed one, but it still works perfectly fine.

Picked up the 5 speed bezel off ebay for 20 bucks shipped.

Yes. It's just a plastic trim piece with a boot. Boot should be the same length. Only difference is the shift pattern badge will be different.

I don't know why my 5 speed boot was so much bigger, but it was almost twice the height of my 6 speed one. It looked like a freaking wizard hat.
