I just bought some mobil 1 synthetic for my new TA and the price was great. So what is with the Mobil 1 oil filter? picked up a Mobil 1 M1-206 and it was $12 while all other ones were half that price. They were out of ac delco and all other ones so i had to get the mobil 1. Is there a reason I should pay that next time?

 

the obvious answer would be "its a better filter and a better brand"

will it prevent much....not anything a $6 filter wont probably.

so if you can, just buy the normal ones

AC Delco filters are actually very good AFAIK............as much as people hate to admit it, not everything that GM sends out from the factory is garbage!
