Where to get Window Stabilizer?

Does anyone know where i can get a 97 window stabilizer?

The Part # is 10257988
and here is a pic: http://shbox.com/1/stabilizers.jpg

Apparently one of mine broke in half (No idea how) and it turned into a knife and has been cutting my tint off every time the window goes down. Do you think a chevy dealer would carry it? or an Auto store like murray's or autozone?

or do you think i need to order online?

That's going to be a dealer or junkyard item. I highly doubt an autoparts store is going to carry those.

Try Jason Cromer, he works for a Florida dealer and gives good genuine GM parts prices to us.. your local dealer will hose you..
His number is 1-850-243-8826..
Also good for bigger stuff

Yeah, that's a GM part number. It's a dealer part.

Geez shoebox... I see your name on everything... did you take your car apart and photograph everypart peice by piece or what?

Screw a website you should have a book at Autozone & at the Dealer.

I just got back from getting the these. Each one was 9.20 with taxes. Expensive!! I had to try 3 different dealerships. Luckily they had them in stock. Now on to putting them on.

Re: Where to get Window Stabilizer?

Ok, i called some junkyards. Out of six i called, one had a single one for FIFTY DOLLARS!!!
and the second wanted 25!! for one piece. I called my mom's car dealer and they told me it was 15$ and since i was up the street i went and got it. They only charged me about 9$ when i got there. They also gave me a printout to how to put my door back to gether again with all the part numbers and the guy helped me identify a few other parts iwas confused about. Thanks for the help. Do you think i would be able to get a set of ttops with all the trim and seals from a junkyard for cheap?
