where can i MOUNT a tach,,quick help ..
i need to know where i can mouth the screws to hold the tach..if i remember right, the dash is too soft and wont hold..
i think the car is a 96 formula 6 speed, mounting a 5" tach and shift light.
in MY 97z i mounted it to my pillar, but i have a tripple gauge aftermarket pillar. this car doesn't...

Most people mount it to the plasstic piece that houses the guage cluster. It's thicker and stronger than the a pillar plastic and is fairly easy to remove
