Where can I get a power antenae motor?

The shaft is fine but the motor is burned out. I'll probably have to buy the whole thing right? How much are they?

30 bones on ebay. They work well and are easy to install. I just got a whole new unit.

Have you installed the aftermarket one yet? I want to add a TA power antenna to my Z but i really don't want to pay the high prices for a used TA one.

Did you have to reuse anything off of your old TA antenna? Since i'm going to be doing it on a Camaro i won't have an old antenna to steel parts off. I guess my main concern is does it have the mounting base? The part thats black and sits on top of the qtr panel.

I bought a replacement power antenna from Dal. It was about $80 including shipping. I seem to recall the mounting stuff that sits outside on the quarter panel was included.

Yeah man all the stuff you need is included. It has the mounting base and a bracket and screws for mounting it inside the fender. You just bend the bracket to line up to the plate inside the fender and bolt it in. Easy as it gets.

Do you know who you bought yours from SprayedTransAm? There are several people on ebay selling aftermarket ones on ebay for about $30. I just want to make sure i get one that i know will work. Thanks a lot man.

Re: Where can I get a power antenae motor?

I just looked at ebay and I don't think the person I bought from is still selling...The 26.99 one from metro2001 looks quite a bit like mine, and the one from antennax.com looks similar.

If I were you I would decide which one will looks more attractive (to you) from the top of the fender up. They will both probably work the same, just pick the one that looks the best to you. Any other questions about that stuff let me know .
