When is a Y-pipe and 3" catback not enough?

At what power level is a Y-pipe and 3" catback not enough?

Let's imagine that the car in question has LT's (1-3/4" primaries) with a catted Y-pipe and a 3" catback with a free-flowing muffler. Assume high-flow cats. For the sake of clarity, I am talking about my Z28 at some point in the future.

How much power will that exhaust setup support before it starts to become the weak link?
