please let me know how much you think that i would be able to pull for my z, im wanting to sell to get a 96-97 SS or truck...
anyways, its a 96 z28, m6, 88k, hardtop, non pwr everything besides locks, alarm, eibach prokit, 5 spoke ss rims, moroso CAI, flowmaster exh, cutout, the rear end was rebuilt in may($1400) and the trans was rebuilt witha new clutch a few wks ago($1300), its having a few issues right now(damn starter problems ), but im planning on having it all fixed by the time i sell it so itll be in excellent condition all the way around, thanks for your time and estimate

How do you frickin' figure. That's what dealers,auctions,and any informed buyer do or would use. Regardless of your personal opinion of them, it doesn't change the fact that it's going to tell you what your car is worth. Which is exactly what you asked. If you don't like the answer don't ask the question.

 

damn chill out bro, not a big deal, kbb/nada isnt as accurate as u think, you can only get the amount for a car that someone will pay, and kbb/nada doesnt do that,, or take in account, the rebuilds, rims, etc, it doesnt show how much more desirable 6spds are VS. autos, it doenst take alot into account, and its not that i didnt like ur answer, bc you DIDNT give me an answer, im asking what WE(people that know and drive camaros) say its worth, not kbb/nada, ive heard alot of TRASH about both of them, thanks

 

Not a problem. Sorry about taking it so harsh. The reason I didn't give you an exact answer based on what you asked is mainly because I don't know what all is involved with your vehicle and getting an in person view,smell,sound is the only way to do that. You are the only person that knows for sure and using those two sites would help you get a good idea. I know they don't factor in the other things you mentioned, but go to any dealer and try to trade it in, I guarantee without some prodding they won't be willing to give you any more than KBB will say it's worth. But, based on the info you provided and saying it is in excellent condition I too would guess in the 6-7k range. Since I've seen close to 100k loaded LS1's in the 8-9k range. Drop a couple years off and lower the mileage and creature comforts a little and it seems reasonable. I'm not saying these cars may be in as good of condition of yours or anything, but just making a reasonable guess. Again sorry about before, I realize I spoke like a jackass after reading what I wrote.


Edit: Forgot to mention, some good exterior,interior,under hood,and maybe underneath pictures would help in our opinions. Even a sound clip or two.

LT1's arent worth **** nowadays(even though dealers will still try to rape you)...I guess whatever you think its worth...id say between 5-7k

 

I sold my 95 z28 w/76k miles, 6spd, SLP CAI, tinted windows, leather, for $8,200 about a year and a half ago. Seems like people who are looking will pay a little more for a 6spd. because they are a little harder to find.

If you have problems selling it to compstall I can outbid him. I have $25 in my wallet
