What Viscosity PAG Oil?

What Viscosity PAG Oil?

So, I was just gonna throw ISO 100 Viscosity in it (Medium), but was talking to a mechanic the other day he said some folks are putting ISO 46 in everything (Low) b/c it reduces compressor oil lockup or something? Anybody got any thoughts on this, or just keep it stock. BTW, what is stock, I'm just assuming 100 Viscosity.

Everything but the evaporator is new:

Compressor, Condensor, Expansion Valve, Accumulator, all lines.

It depends, haven't opened my system up yet, so I haven't looked it up in the factory service manual. It'll reference a GM part number for it that you can google and find out or check here for reference if the compressor is in the list:

Stock is ISO 150 viscosity.

Most GMs are PAG 150...... 4th Gens are 150.......
