The interior noise of the tires I have now is way too lout for my taste. I don't want to change the size (275/45R17). What are the quietest tires out there for a daily driver?

i can't say that i notice any road noise from my firehawk SZ50s

check tirerack.com they have specs on road noise

 

I would say that it would be a tire that has a softer tread compound. But, they won't have as good of tread life with a softer compound. It will also depend on how wide that you do. I bought Sumitomo HTRZ's all around on my car and I have 315's in back and they are quiet. They are a cheap priced tire but I have had good luck with them. After the wheel purchase, I could not spend $900 on tires.

 

i've got some stock sized kumhos
they are soft and won't last too long (especially with my driving style ) but they seem pretty quiet to me
i would expect though that if your tires you have right now are worn, they will definately be louder

 

I've got fulda extremos in that size, and I don't notice any noise from them.

 

I think I've got the opposite of what you are looking for!
My Yokohama's sound like 33" Mud tires!
