what qualifies as a "bolt on" only car

The motor is an LT1. I plan to:
1.refresh the heads and re use stock valves, no head work.
2.stock LT1 cam
The only problem is the block is a higher mileage (124K) and the condition is unknown. I plan to re-use stock rotating assembly, but will most likely end up .010 under on main and rods. I am uncertain on the bore, but doubt a hone will be sufficient. I'd like to do stock size pistons pending outcome of the bore.

I'd like to do a little experimenting along the way with a stock block. I did a few boltons early on when I bought the car and then did H/C with about every bolt on possible. It was a large jump to go from stock to modified that there is really no comparison. I'd like to document some things along the way and try a few different things.

The only thing I won't change is the suspension. This is a full suspension car with QA1 adjustables all the way around. Adjustable Torque arm...LCA...Spohn pro series drag bar...UMI k-member...Chromoly Upper and lower control arms with sperical ends...Subframe connectors and poly everything . I also have a Strange s60 with 4.10's but want to experiment with the 10 bolt and gearing as well.

So would this sound like a bolt on only car. Maybe add an asterix next to it if I have to bore the cylinders. Sorta like a Barry Bonds homerun/steroids thing

My main goal is to learn a few things and try a few out. Oh, and to learn nitrous. The motor in my sig is built for a larger shot of n20. I'd rather blow this one up than the expensive one.

Do a search. We've had this argument several times. Look under "fastest bolton times".
